ERT Position on Cybersecurity
For the European economy to flourish in the digital era, an aligned & robust approach to Cybersecurity is a prerequisite.
With the increasing digitalisation of business, cybersecurity risks will intensify, placing constraints on the future development of Europe. Governments, citizens and industry all have a role to play in managing risks and building the required cybersecurity capabilities for the Digital Single Market, thereby providing a framework of trust.
In this Position Paper, ERT lays out its thoughts on two aspects:
- Recommendations to strengthen cybersecurity in Europe and globally
- Principles that companies should embrace in relation to cybersecurity
