ERT issues Industrial Competitiveness Alert

Soaring energy prices are currently precipitating an alarming decline in the competitiveness of Europe’s industrial energy consumers. In this short summary paper, ERT highlights the significant implications of the current crisis and the erosion it is causing in European industry. The paper also include our recommendations for the preservation of European industrial competitiveness and annexes which provide a breakdown of the decline already apparent in various industrial sectors.
