Speech by ERT Chair at Forum Europa
Dublin, 22 September 2026: In his speech at the Forum Europa in Brussels this morning, ERT Chair Sir Jonathan Symonds laid out how Europe doesn’t have an ideas problem. It has a delivery problem. Outlining the three pillars of his vision for ERT’s work in the coming 2 years, he urged national governments across the EU-27 to finish the Single Market, strengthen competitiveness and turn strategy into action, to renew the investment case for Europe.
