Swift approval of the Delegated Act regarding the EU Taxonomy
ERT, representing 60 major European industrial companies, welcomes the European Commission’s adoption of the Delegated Act on 4 July 2025. Key changes, such as materiality thresholds for all KPIs, voluntary OPEX reporting when non-material, and updates to Appendix C, are important steps to improve usability and reduce reporting burdens.
ERT urges the Council and European Parliament to approve the Act quickly. Delays create legal uncertainty and extra effort for companies preparing 2025 reports. A swift decision will provide clarity, cut compliance costs, and ensure effective implementation for the current financial year.
